Five Months and Five Years
Willa turned Five Months Old yesterday.
Yesterday was also the fifth anniversary of my dad passing. Every year it gets easier, but I usually have a low level of uneasiness for weeks coming up to the day. Through this process of mourning my dad it usually has to do with the conflict between Life and Death. Ren was born five weeks after my dad died. It was challenging to say the least to have new life inside of me while experiencing the closest and saddest death.
My dad died five years ago yesterday, but he also had a part in Willa's laugh. Maybe it was a five month gift for his grand-daughter.

Stop the Chocolate
A couple weeks ago we had someone come speak at our church.
He was talking about Human Traffiking. It is the 2nd most profitable crime in the world.
I love chocolate and anyone that knows me, knows this to be true.
Unfortunately I found out that small boys are being stolen from villages all around Africa and are sent to work in cocoa bean fields to harvest yummy, delicious chocolate for people like.......me.
I have since stopped eating chocolate. I had no idea this was happening and it makes me sick.
There are a few companies that are being responsible and I am going to get some of that so that I don't get the shakes.
I want everyone to know about this and I am going to start emailing the companies that normally I would have used. My niece Lydia already has a letter out to Nestle since she loves to bake and was devastated that people would do this to small children and that we could be part of the problem if we don't speak out.
Here's the website.

Obviously Ren loves to dance. This is the beginning of several dances she did the other day that she requested that I video. Her moves just keep getting better and better. This is the one she wanted me to put on the blog. More Ren dancing videos to come!

Sunshine On A Cloudy Day
I was doing something in the other room, but I heard Ren giggling her brains out. Then I came in and saw Wizzie like this. Of course as usual she didn't care.
It has been a gray hot humid day today so, I decided to put the girls in these yummy bright yellow outfits that Aunt Alli P. and Dax got them. I could eat them.
Well, it's been confirmed from the doctor that Willa is doing an excellent job growing. She is in the 75th percentile of weight and is the length of an eighth month old. Not bad. Ren is in the 75th percentile of height and the 25th percentile of weight. She's a tall drink of water.
