Beebles and Art

My girls were at their cousins house the other day when I was teaching some lessons. When I came to pick them up my sister showed me these drawings.

She had seen them and interrogated the Legumes to see if they had helped. She could not believe that Willa had done it alone. I promptly interrogated them myself and came up with the same information and then asked Willa if she would draw me.
She sat right down and did it. I know I'm a nerdy mom, but this is pretty sophisticated for a 2 something year old.

This is from the other day when I removed some Beebles from the top of Willa's head. She loves her hair like this. She feels awesome. Can you feel her?

Love, love, love.

House Updates

So I believe this is it for the primer until spring. I wanted to get farther, but was very happy to get as far as we did.

This side porch didn't get completed, but it looks close enough.

Dress Up

I had thought about possibly getting rid of my wedding dress, but I'm very thankful that I didn't. Out of the blue tonight Ren asked me if she could look at my wedding dress, because she loves it so much.

You don't know what it took to rig this up so that it wasn't risque.

Of course Willa needed to try it on too.

Gorgeous Girls.

More House Updates

This is basically a "Where's Waldo" house update. I know you are thinking...um, it looks the same. And my response is...well, kind of, but definitely some changes.
Go find them for yourself.
I feel like a five year old making a picture every time I add a foot length of white primer trim I want to say, "Hey mom! Look! Look!" Well, I actually, do call my mom and say that and then she comes over and checks it out.
Thanks Mom.

I am hoping to paint the porches tomorrow and that will make a HUGE difference to me.

I can feel the home stretch...at least until Spring!

Edna Garrett Eat Your Heart Out!

This kid has a passion for doing dishes and getting REALLY wet and saying, "THAT'S OKAY MAMA!" as she spills water all over the floor. It is okay.

Quite often she will make a request that I leave the dishes in the sink for her to attend to later at her convenience.

I adore this kid.

House Updates

Oil-based Primer hopefully will be done before a serious frost. God Help Us!

Happy Halloween 2010!

I don't have time to chitty chat so, please enjoy the photos.

Starting at the left we have some type of cat that steals things or something like that, an old lady that quickly stripped herself of the only real things that made her look like an old lady, a kitten, The Spirit of Halloween, and a baby.

Mug Shots.
