First Mini Movie with Ren AND Willa

This isn't the greatest mini movie I've ever done, but at least you can see the sisters in action. Next time I'll try to get Willa's eyes open.

Aunt Alli's Surprise Visit!!!

It wasn't a surprise visit, but it felt like it since we talked on Friday morning when I had found a bizarrely fantastic deal on travelocity and then she was here in all her glory the very next night!

Eden Turns 5!

Eden did the decorating all by herself! Can you tell? Barely, I know. Um, for your next party decorating needs I think you know where to call?

Eden: "Hallelujah! Cake likes cake!"
Ren: "Amen sister! Amen! I feel ya!"


Lydia made a beautiful scarf for Eden that she crocheted herself.

It's our first night home with all four of us together and it feels great. David and I are full of love and thankfulness for the blessing of these girls.

P2 Update!

I went in for my second non stress test today.
While I was there I expressed to the nurse that I was starting to feel like maybe my original due date was the correct one (January 19Th).
She instantly started doing some calculations and agreed and then spoke to one of the midwives who confirmed..........ugh.
Apparently the ultrasound that they did when I was only 8 weeks along is a much better calculation of the age of the baby then the one you get at 20 some weeks (which is when they changed my due date)!
So, why is it they moved my due date up by two weeks? I have no idea. Well, I do, but it's really not worth explaining other than I think this baby might be bigger than Ren.
So, my new due date is this Friday the 18Th.
Besides all this fun news I had been battling a horrendous toothache that ended up being a root canal which I had done this morning before going to my second false non stress test! After that we got to pick up our car from the shop since our brake line went kaput.
Through all this though I am thankful. I am thankful that we are all healthy, I am thankful to have David and Ren and this package riding on me. I am thankful for great family and wonderful friends and I know that God has the right timing for this child. I'm also thankful for Tylenol with Codeine which is a wonderful drug when you are coming off a root canal!

Thank you for any and all prayers and please keep them coming. My next appt. is Monday, but hopefully the next P2 update will be a picture of her.

P2 We're ready for you!

This little girl is still sitting pretty in my tummy 7 days overdue. I had a non stress test done this past Friday and everything is looking good, but they are talking about inducing me on Monday. I really don't want to be induced. If you talk to a woman that has been induced by Pitocin they have the look like they stared at hell for a couple seconds.....quite terrifying. We would be so thankful for any prayers for a healthy and safe delivery and a healthy and safe little girl.

Bling! Bling!

I've already informed you that Ren is totally and passionately into everything princess. Usually in the morning she comes into our room and has already put on all her jewelry still wearing her jammies. This morning she clap, clapped down the hallway to our bedroom in her heels. Saying, "I love the way these sound!" The girl loves to sparkle. Today Grandma W. lovingly took Ren off our hands for a date with Lydia included. They went to some thrift stores and found a whole bag full of these gorgeous treasures. The Hello Kitty actually blinks when you push on the kitty's head......fancy.

Art Girl

"Momma I LOVE to paint!!!" Ren said last night as we were filling up the containers. She got this easel as a Christmas present last year from Grandma and Grandpa P, but then we moved and with all the construction we had it stored in the basement. Now that the tree is gone we have it all set up and she is in heaven. This is her first painting since it's been up.

Legumes Gone Wild!

Uncle Tanner left today. Today is also my due date and so we assumed that I would go into labor seconds after he got on the plane. Alas, it is 11:45pm and no contractions in sight.

I told Ren that Uncle Tanner was going back to California and she said, "Oh, I don't want him to go. It's much more fun with Uncle Tanner here." Fly safe Uncle Tanner!

Happy New Year 2008!

Yes, it's 2008! The Legumes went to bed at about 10:30pm so we did a false countdown and this is the end result. I have played and replayed this video so many times and laughed so hard. Watch your ears it's gets a little loud!
