Willa's Birthday!

We always decorate a balloon chair of honor for the girls, but Willa hated the balloons and wanted them all taken off.

Sitting with Lydia and having some good ole' birthday "Omert." Or Oatmeal.

Eden's family birthday brunch is tomorrow so Ren was making a beautiful painting for her.

It begins.

David did such a great job.
Having an artist is helpful for cake constructions.

Willa building a campsite.

Fancy campsite.

I always buy or build a dorky/gorgeous crown situation for the girls to wear. Unfortunately, this one was a little too top heavy so that every time Willa tipped her head down it came crashing to the ground.

GORGEOUS.

The Legumes were all over her!

Yummy.

Happy Birthday Willa We LOVE You!

You Asked For It.

We don't have a ton of pictures, but David took these last year. This is looking from the dining room into the kitchen.

This is what the hard wood floors and walls looked like before David refinished them.

And this was the downstairs bedroom.
I am going to try to keep documenting along the way.

This and That on a Sunday

I had to take the girls to church solo today. David was overseeing one of our rentals having carpet installed.

I had to return something and the store, but it wasn't open yet so we came to play at the kid area.

They had good ole lunatic fun.

This is the rental that David has been trying to finish and it really has felt like the impossible dream. This is the kitchen.

Kitchen looking into the dining room.

I have not seen this project since August, because Don Quixote could not handle me seeing it until it was closer to the finish line. He just REALLY needed me to be astounded and I am.

Front room.

David has basically gutted, lifted, cut out, filled in, painted, caulked, plumbed, electrified and he still has more.
This is the family room.

Downstairs bedroom with fresh paint and new carpet.

Front upstairs bedroom.

Side upstairs bedroom.

Ren wanted to take pictures.

This is an odd space off of the side bedroom upstairs.

Almost there baby.

This is a picture of Willa after she dumped an entire tin of honey roasted peanuts on my coffee table. I wish I had left the mound for the photo, but any of you who know me...well, I don't even have to explain.
