Tooth Fairy Visits Willa Again!

Did I mention that Willa's 3 1/2? She is special. Earlier in the week she accidentally burnt her bum on a cup of coffee that resulted in a trip to the doctor and a confirmed 3rd degree burn. Then just a mere few days later whilst playing tug of war with her mouth, a unicorn shaped pillow pet named "Cotton Candy" and her sister's grip. She extracted her other front baby tooth.
If you know not what tooth I speak of then please go find my post from Oct. 18th of 2010 and that should bring it all together.

The short story is this sweet gap is going to be with her for a while and she feels fabulous or
"FA BLEE US" as Willa would say.

I told David that we should write a note to ring her bell, because that's just good, clean, fun. He had a much better idea and boy does this picture ring her bell!

New Winter Hat

I bought this adorable owl hat for Willa. I almost put it away for when it was cold, but of course I couldn't wait to put it on her. She would not take it off all day.

I came upstairs and found her sitting on the couch waiting to watch a movie. She yelled, "Mama, can I sit on your lap?"

I could never say no.

First Day of Preschool for Willa!

Home again! She had a great day at Preschool!

Ren's First Day of 3rd Grade!

Ren had a great day at school today and really likes her teacher. So far so good. We are praying for an awesome year!

Tea Time

Willa has been making really interesting tea. I wish I had a picture, but I'll just have to describe it. Imagine a cute little face looking up at you sweetly smiling and saying, "you want some tea mama?" Of course you say yes, because that is the ONLY proper response to that request until you are given the cup o' tea and lurch back, because instead of it being filled with water it is water with peanuts, Golden Grahams, and chips floating in it. Yes and she was sucking her various gut wrenching combos everyday for a while there. Ren started to get into it too and so on a day off I thought they should have a tea party for breakfast. The only problem was I was all out of tea. No problem that hot chocolate couldn't fix.

I love miniatures.
