Willa's First Trip to Canada

Ren has been flying since SHE was three weeks old and she LOVES it!

The girls did a great job on both our flights to and from Vancouver.

Happy valentine's Day!

As you know from my Sleepless in Vancouver post we were a tad sick in Canada. Ren taking naps in the middle of the day is completely unheard of.

By this time Allison, Ren and David were all very sick, but Allison had promised Ren a special movie night with treats and cushions on the floor. Rennie loved it!

Grandma P. made a batch of play dough for Ren and it was a huge hit!

Kathy is a great pianist and Ren loves to perch beside her and listen. We have several pictures like this one from when we lived in Vancouver.

Ren had retained really fond memories of this restaurant that has a frog theme. This dinner was a "You are the most awesome new, big, sister dinner!"

We let Ren stay up late and watch American Idol with us.

Dax was a little hesitant to hold Willa. She's a bit of a puker so, it's understandable, but look at this pro.

Grandma P. brought home some good books from her kindergarten class that she thought Ren would like. She sucked her own kids in too.

Allison and Dax own Rock Band and brought it over for us to play with. It's a lot of fun. I stink, but it's still fun.

Tori, Kevin, Kesler and Sayda all came over to visit. Ren and Kesler were best friends when we lived here. They both started out feeling a little shy, but soon got over it and were running all over the house giggling and knocking into each other. Next time we'll get a picture of the parents. Or better yet a picture of the Tori/Torey's together.

Sleepless in Vancouver

Hey everyone.

We are currently visiting family in Vancouver for rest and to show off our new package.

Unfortunately, Ren came down with a flu the day before we flew. It's been five days since we flew out and Ren has finally rallied, but the sickies in the house out weigh the healthies at this point. David and Aunt Alli came down with it by the second day we were here and Allison had already been fighting something else. We brought something wicked from the midwest. David is still fighting a fever and Allison's fever got so bad that she had to go into the hospital last night. They found a touch of pneumonia and then wanted to keep her overnight to monitor her.

I woke up in the middle of the night with a scratchy throat and Willa wouldn't sleep unless she was cradled in my arms all night long.

Grandma and Grandpa P. are still well thank GOD and hopefully Dax, Allison's boyfriend won't get it either. I am sending out an emergency to please pray for us all to get better for Allison to be able to come home today and for Willa to not get sick.
