Her Wheels Are Always Turning
The other night Ren was having a really hard time getting to sleep.
She was somewhere between West coast and East coast time zone and we were rooting for East.
Many trips to the bathroom. Many deep and loud sighs. Many concerns that every single nighttime ritual had been completed and completed properly.
Just when I had used up every fiber that I had left in my own jumbled West/East coast nightmare. Ren had walked away from yet ANOTHER trip to the pot and tinkled out a few drops, but turned back and said very politely, "Mama, may I ask one more question please?" "Yes Ren." I said.
"Are the moose and elephant from the same family?"
"No Ren they aren't."
"Okay Mama, I just wanted to know."
"Goodnight Ren. I love you."
