The Bean Turns Four!

Eden turned four last week and we had a birthday bash last friday to celebrate.
I believe this present she's holding is from Lydia.

I made this cake for her. She wanted a Ladybug birthday cake. The lady bug had a neck problem and looked more like a red turtle from the side.

This Peanut had pink doogles (sorry, but true) for days!!! Quite alarming.

I LOVE the CAKE!!! nice work! no wonder the peanut had pink doogles... you would have had to use a lot of food colouring to turn white icing that colour!!

Thanks!
It probably ended up being about 2tsp worth of good dye. Unfortunately you could taste the dye too...blech. I am wondering how they are able to dye things red without it tasting disgusting. My friend who loves to bake is going to investigate for me.
