The 4th of July!!!

Here is Eden stretching out and getting ready to grab some serious candy.

That looks like joy.

Grandma P. with Willa.

David's GQ pose.

Lovely Bird.

I told the Legumes to jump up and down and wave to attract the candy throwers. They took my suggestion to heart. My kid has some serious ups.

Oh, Wizzle.

Please notice Christopher's thumbs up.

Gorgeous girls.

Let's get a look at that loot!

What a fun long beautiful day. In the evening we like to enjoy fireworks in the driveway. Paul and Christopher put on a stellar show.

Ren made this pose and then said, "Oh, mommy take my picture."

I saw Eden follow Ren's lead and decided to snap before she asked.

Mr. Dan came over with his antique cast iron malt machine and made us all made to order blizzards with a ton of different candies. They were so yummy!

At first Willa was whimpering when the fireworks started. After David assured her she just stared open eyed and open mouthed drooling. (Yes, friends she's teething.)

David and Dan did a little beer bottle jive.

Contentment.

The Wizzle.

The last sparkler fades out till next year.

ok that was a lot of pictures so a couple of things

1) That white dress with yellow flowers on ren is adorable... and love eden's candy/hand bag

2) Got some good shots there of the wizzle's knees... which are looking splendidly delicious

3) the series of the wizzle in the sling are hilarious... she looks as though she was kidnapped and trying to communicate with her eyes to the photographer.. (yes you mom)... GET ME OUT OF HERE! finally by the third or fourth photo she is really pouring it on... YES I AM STILL IN HERE! GOOD GRIEF PUT DOWN YOUR CAMERA AND GET ME OUT!

4) Dan looks great.. any birthday prophecies on the horizon? And i know I was promised berry tarts on my return however that antique blizzard machine sounds good too...

All in all looks like a fun day... thanks for the pics.

Allison, I love your comment here. I love that I can completely hear your voice.

You need to get here soon and come swim in my pool. Of course we're going to need to get you some tranquilizers to withstand the Get Along Gang that goes along with the pool.

Just so you know, whenever I have the pleasure of holding the Wizzle in the company of someone who has just met her, I always straighten her fat little leg so that they can appreciate her gorgeous (and extremely plump) little knees

Hey there Allison,

Thanks for the vote of confidence! So far no birthday prophecies fulfilled yet, but it's just a matter of time. :-) And as to blizzards vs. a three berry tart--well, it won't take too much to twist my arm into doing both! Blizzards and tarts on the Westside!

Thanks Brynn,
I would love a family reunion. I need to see your girls too. It would be great to see all the cousin babies together.
If I am out east anytime soon I would love to come visit.
